The Genesis Program is designed to introduce the game of soccer to developing players (Ages 7-9). The program runs from 9:00am - 3:00 daily.

In this age group, children have a need to express their own autonomy, build relationships with teammates, and achieve confidence with the soccer  ball. The aspect of FUN and activity is prevalent. Kids at this age do not "play soccer" , they play soccer while at soccer. Sessions are kept active with FUN, imaginative games. Each player works with his or her own ball for most of the training session. The players will learn their first technical gestures and the fundamentals of the soccer game.
Each day's activities are varied and include lots of fun games created explicitly for young players. They will learn dribbling, ball control, and kicking through age appropriate intruction and small sided games of 3v3 and 4v4. Each activity has been designed to develop coordination, physical skills and social interaction.
What Should Players Bring to Academy
EQUIPMENT: Player must bring shin guards, water, soccer ball and sunscreen. Players must label personal Items including jackets, soccer balls, backpacks, water bottles.
FOOD: Players must bring lunch, a drink and a snack.
FORMS: A completed Player Liability Form and a Medical Release Form |
